A PROOF OF SOMETHING I DON'T UNDERSTAND
Cary WolinskyCreated July 2, 2011. Monterey Massachusetts. On the porch of a 1930s cabin overlooking a mountain lake there is a plank table attached by hinges to the wall. By mid afternoon the sun tops the mountain and slips under the porch roof. It lays down hot light on the surface of the old table, embossing a fine shadow of the screen into the wood. Sunlight also reflects off the water lake from a second angle. It is that double light passing through a glass object that creates a projection of what appeared to be a three dimensional object.
