What do you stand behind? • Suzie Leger: FEMINISM. EDUCATION. ART. LOVE. •  What is your writing/thinking process being the lead singer of your punk rock band? • SL: The songs that I am writing are about who or what I desire to be and to be with. I live out - as society perceives it - morally ambiguous fantasies. I address international politics and I share personal experiences that are directly related to it. I am always aware of the responsibility I have as an artist to reflect upon the world we live in, to encourage not to be ignorant about or normalize authoritarian tendencies. Each individual has the power to make a difference, even though we sometimes feel we are not relevant enough.
