ANATOMY: COMPOSE, DISTINCTIVE, PERSONAL
Chris Boyko
Created in 2015.
In the distance, figures are seen throwing others into a purple lake, which reflects the purple sky. Traveling downward the figures drop out of the sky as embryos. Disconnected from the land, the floating red-orange organic forms catch the embryos. Carrying them over to the platform, they begin constructing the painting. An embryo is placed with each object in the scene. By doing so, they're creating a space that's recognizable. It's a space they can call their own.
