Dean Rossiter works through modes of photorealist drawing, process painting and conceptual installation as a means of answering compelling questions that are deeply vested in our Contemporary world. Dean views mediums as expendable tools of investigation, as such the work of the artist is rich in diversity, skill and approach.

Having been born after the creation of the internet and having grown up through the digital revolution, Dean’s current paintings highlight the paradoxical impact digital technologies have had on the current generation. These paintings bring into question the adverse effects these digital worlds are having on modes connectivity and socialisation through the uninhibited use of contradiction and paradox within painting.
