Created in 2018. Crossing the River took inspiration from the final chapters of The Pilgrim’s Progress. The last and final trial, the river of death, is a difficult journey for any pilgrim. And yet this too shall pass. Composed of acrylic on board, this piece features Bosch influenced creatures and color palettes.
