An earlier painting by Aazam Irilian, Dawn represents a place of change, a moment when the shift happened--thus she wrote. "Surrounded by the darkness, she could only dream of a place she desired to be. It was through these dreams and visions, that she was inspired to take her first steps. Seeking a place that was filled with light, happiness and joy—and thus, she began her journey. Dawn, from Dreamscape series is a painting about cracking open the door and letting the first rays of light to shine through. It’s the beginning of a journey from the deep of the darkness to the light."
