DO YOUR BONES GLOW AT NIGHT?
Hannah Pearman
Created 2016. Acrylic and mixed media on canvas.
Which parts of yourself are you slower to unveil? Are there glimmering gems in your spirit that you reserve for particular people, at specific times, when you feel a certain way? Is there a rhyme or reason to when and how you lay yourself bare? This piece is a tribute to the simple, subtle, altogether disarming experience of sleeping next to someone you love, and how beautifully vulnerable we are in those subconscious hours. Slumber-induced surrender.
