The imagery in Weiner's paintings has a natural and cosmic-like aspect but is grounded in the non -physical realm of the artist's consciousness. The forms represent her own language for translating her inner reality along with the external observations in the natural world that inspire her. She fabricates her paintings, building up several layers of paint in the process. Although the pouring is directed and controlled, it allows for unexpected occurrences.
