This painting is two rock ledges hanging over water while a flock of birds carry away a frame from which they came from. The clouds, birds and rocks also outline two faces. Vanessa calls it “Frank” because when people are speaking frankly they may say things without having researched the topic, Vanessa would say how she often hears people tell her they “don't get art” which is pretty frank to her, a painting on a wall may as well be a black hole (making quite a statement on my career), although ironically appreciating the beauty of the rest of the world around them. Somewhat bitter sweet.
