Ever feel like a hermit crab? They live alone, within salvaged empty seashells, due to their own physical vulnerability. As a hermit crab grows, she is forced to relocate to a larger empty shell. And during that transition, the crab is particularly vulnerable. As we (humans) grow, we are often forced to leave our shells and face uncertainty and hardship. When that happens, smile, even just a slight Mona Lisa smile, and remember that the times of feeling alone and vulnerable won’t last forever.
