This is something Vanessa does and made it a painting.. Sometimes when she's out in public and notice someone looking at her, Vanessa strategically stands behind a pole so she feels like they cant see her. So Vanessa painted this, a street with people hiding behind poles. Coincedentally though, it could be the pedestrian intentionally hiding or the car moving at a pace where the person you’re watching just happens to be behind the pole as you pass, walking at the same pace (relatively) and you never satisfy the curiosity of seeing what that persons face looked like.

Naturally, as a surrealist, Vanessa plopped the street in the desert and the street lines are floating up.
