The piece was created through a printmaking process called ‘serigraphy’ that has a digital component within the making process. The background conformed by a dimensional orange pattern refers to the marking language used in the construction industry and utility service sector with the intention to connect with the idea of gentrification and its impact on the urban landscape. The graphic forms of the front refer to the construction cranes interpreted as these huge intricate structures that transform our urban ecosystem. The reflective tape speaks of caution and signage.
