Created 2009. Antique furniture remnants using paint, collage, and fabric, and found objects. It is getting late and the little dog in pajamas is floating up to a different plane. There is some fear and wonder, but it feels very peaceful- a journey of the spirit. Linda was always inspired by her little beagle mix Pucci to create artwork with his image.

Linda Mitchell, an Atlanta native, earned MFAs in both Painting and Sculpture from GSU. Her exhibitions span 30+ years. Her work has been featured in 12 solo museum exhibitions around the country. Awards include 2010 Artist Grant from the City of Atlanta Cultural Affairs.
