"Initially captured photographically following a clearing after an early misty morning in Scotland during her first solo travels trekking up North, Kika was only 18 years old and this scene captured her imagination as one which was unforgettable, even after many international travels and more then 20 years before. Her landscapes where initially translated via collage as Kika returned to her practice following a 15 year break and begun by exploring the key behind her inspiration - nature and landscapes only recently being transferred through illustration to expand on the possibilities for sharing her work with her audience.
