Laundry day was inspired by the need to come clean with a few of guys the artist had been ghosting. The day she created this piece she made a resolution to reply to them and apologize for avoiding them and lying. It felt like going through a laundry list. She felt ashamed and relieved at the same time. Hence the several ghosts being washed.
