"Dawn is an amateur photographer and amateur gardener living in north-central Vermont who enjoys taking macro shots of her gardens, yard, and pets.  “lilac buds with bug” not only captures these beautiful tight buds, but also this shiny, lovely bug resting on a small bunch at the bottom of the stalk. The extreme zoom on the flowers makes the background a complete blur, which helps to accentuate the deep purple of the buds and the bright red of the bug."
