Vanessa's been super pear focused lately, probably because she's been making more artworks in a shorter space of time and the topics of each merge together. So Vanessa made another pear! She wanted to follow up on the style of my recent 'Spotty Pig' as Vanessa noticed quite a few people saved that one. Vanessa almost left this artwork just as a spotty pear although right before she thought she'd finished Vanessa watched a Bosch documentary which caused her to think twice about leaving it simple. So Vanessa added a cage and an ear.

After finishing it, it reminded her of listening.. how there's sound around you and sometimes you ignore the sounds and sometimes you absorb them and contemplate.
