Marionette is an amalgamation of historical imagery from both the Far East (specifically Japan) and some of the top super models working today surrounding a heroic statuesque figure of Sisyphus. The individual centered in the composition bears the weight of the world and all the temptations in it, but in order to fulfill his desires he must stop carrying the responsibility of the world hence all things will fall into hellfire. This painting is currently on a temporary loan at SUZUKI NYC, a Michelin rated sushi restaurant in midtown Manhattan.
