Mars is generally regarded as a reddish, clay colored place with little or no differentiation. Some say it wasn't always the case. Others say it wont be the case in the future, due to humans desire to colonize it. The inspiration for "Mars Rainbow" is hope. Hope for the future, hope for technology, hope for the progress of Humankind. "Mars Rainbow" started out as a photograph.
