I painted this piece in 2018. I did a series of paintings of my local barbershop in Toronto. As I sat waiting for my turn I sketched and took photos of the action around me. With the info I went back to the studio to design the painting keeping it simple but strong in abstraction and colour. This is Mike (in white) and Freddie working away.
