There is nothing quite like a summer's break on the Med. Those dry and humid day's by the beach leading into the laziest of siestas, fading into the most gorgeous sunsets and dusks coupled with the balmiest of eves where no sky is ever quite matched by its predecessor. Kika's digital landscape images on Loupe Art are a tribute to the time she returned to Art following a 15 year break, kickstarting her healing journey from anxiety, depression and burnout through revisiting nature. These landscapes were initially translated from photographs through to collage and only recently transferred through illustration to expand on the possibilities for sharing her work with her audiences.
