In this latest piece from Berlin artist Juke Blue's "American Dream" collection, connoisseurs of automobile pop/art are treated to a unique mosaic of big city lights and open desert freeways. The image, rendered in the Juke's distinctive retrophonic style, captures a side of America once beamed to the world, full of Freedom. The faint distortion, however, combined with digital decay, muted hot pinks, and subdued blues, gives the scene a faintly ominous overtone, reminding the viewer that Freedom can have a darker side too.
