“In a word, as You can see, It’s not a mess in my head, on the contrary – entire clarity. But only to a certain extent. The question is familiar to me. But I have no answer to it. My carriage keeps going, but I don’t know where. When I on occasion start thinking about the answer, my conscious covers in the gloom. And I take this gloom and place it into Your hands. And I ask You, the Graceful God, to keep it by Yourself – only for an hour, to keep it in Your hands – only to fade away the gloom, to fade away the evil, that brings so much darkness into my head and so much blackness into my soul.
