Created 2012. Acrylic on Wood. The "On the Map" project represents a personal view of immigration and is a graphic perspective of what I consider to be a common denominator of our American identity. The portrait of President Obama represents second-generation immigrants, the children of immigrant parents, and highlights the positive effect they have on this nation, their role and contributions to society at large.
