"Initially captured photographically following her various weekend gaunts around the English countryside, Chichester is forever engrained in her memory as a place of solace visited whilst her father was suffering from terminal cancer. These gaunts bought her great serenity and peace of mind during his battle. Her landscapes where initially translated via collage as Kika returned to her practice following his passing and a 15 year break. She begun by exploring the key behind her inspiration - nature and landscapes, only recently being transferred through illustration to expand on the possibilities for sharing her work with her audience.
