Curiosity got the better of Pandora and she opened her jar, inadvertently releasing the evils of the world. The only thing that remained when she closed it again — precariously caught on the lip — was hope. Despite the cautionary tone of this ancient tale, I identify with Pandora. If hope always remains, is anything not worth discovering?
