I started working on this during a snow storm. We were snowed in and I was in an artistic zone for a few hours. I paused to watch Mulholland Drive and then came back to my work, realizing there were parallels in the theme and mood of the artwork with the movie, which led me to the title. I am consistently very inspired by David Lynch and often find parallels with the path my work is going in. This piece is printed on plastic material and framed in a way that creates space between the photograph and the background. I like the spacial quality for this image in particular.
