Talik Bazar Khari Bowali, New Delhi, India. Just days before the Hindu festival of Holi, a vendor sells sacks of pigmented corn flour to celebrants who will throw the colors on each other. O In the traditional story of Holi, everywhere Krishna and Radha travel, people around them, inspired by their love, shower them with colored flower petals. Now showering with flower petals has been replaced with the throwing of cornstarch or arrowroot mixed with aniline dyes. Making color for the festival has become a big business.
