Abi Polinsky created these images as part of a series exploring body and self-confidence. Abi and his production designer (Dan Prosky) created this plexiglass box slightly smaller-than-comfortable, and had about a dozen subjects (most of whom were strangers) come in and squeeze inside while fully nude. Almost no direction was given, and the idea was to see how subjects would adapt and react to this small space while on camera.
