Sitting on the train with a camera in one hand and a gasp in the other, I couldn't help but smile as the scenes flooded by thick and fast. The ride wasn't that fast but the beauty that fell behind was too much to fathom. This a split capture of the scenes passed by on the way to the top of Mount Snowdon - the second highest mountain in the U.K., located in Wales. Kika's digital landscape images on Loupe Art are a tribute to the time she returned to Art following a 15 year break, kickstarting her healing journey from anxiety, depression and burnout through revisiting nature. These landscapes were initially translated from photographs through to collage and only recently transferred through illustration to expand on the possibilities for sharing her work with her audiences.
