The "Splits" triptych (oil on wood) is a tribute to the female body and the transition from a girl to a young woman. The shapes evoke associations with a bridge which can be translated into a unification of emotions, memories, and places that are hidden within us. To the author, it is a powerful connection and a demonstration of sensitivity.
