This painting was a multi-year project, utilizing many layers of oil to achieve the final result. 'Spring, Summer, Falling Snow' is a mandala, representing the cycles in nature and the element of water in all things.

Deborah Gavel is an artist in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She currently lives and works in a studio on historic Rt. 66.  She received an MA and an MFA in Painting from the University of New Mexico.
