The imagery in Weiner's paintings have a nature and cosmic-like aspect, but are grounded in the non -physical realm of the artist's consciousness. The forms represent her own language for translating her inner reality along with the external observations in the natural world that inspires her. She fabricates her paintings by pouring and manipulating paint and medium across the surface of the paintings, building up several layers of paint in the process. Although the pouring is directed and controlled, it allows for unexpected occurrences.
