This is an appropriation! For a little while, Vanessa was receiving more compliments than normal that her work is reminiscent of that of Salvador Dali, Vanessa researched him and decided his painting “Suez” is her favourite. Vanessa then decided to appropriate it. Vanessa found the original quite funny, this is a play on that and perhaps a continual.. Both slightly comical.
