I painted this piece because I felt a higher calling for my life, at the time I did not know what it was until I completed this painting. Throughout this entire painting journey, I applied texture and color with my palette knife. Painting clouds and yet keeping a burning glow of light in the center. Adding bits of gold here and there for a luxurious look. Once it was completed I knew. The answer to my life's calling raced through my veins, it satisfied me with the knowledge of bringing joy, and beauty to those who need it through my art. It was through this painting that I have found my reason to paint and why I paint today.
