"The Chickcharney" is a legendary creature in the folklore of Andros Island in the Bahamas. They are said to be very unusual bird like creatures that live in the pine forest. At 3 feet tall, you still have to be careful, they can either grant your heart's desire or bring terrible pain. The artist wanted to capture the birds in their natural habitat, bringing to life these mythical birds while curious people look on hide in amazement.
