Vanessa started off painting this painting with the intention of making a raised platform with a boat floating on top.. Didn't happen. Sometimes the paintings Vanessa makes just make themselves and are entirely unplanned, this one ended up with vines and by that time I'd decided Vanessa wanted flowers at the end of the vines to be birds.

The way she see's it is the vines are your roots and when the flower blossoms and drained everything it can from the roots then the birds fly away.
