Created in 2017. Located in Brooklyn NY, The Life Wellness Center is a massage and acupuncture studio providing love, healing, and relief for so many. It was also the site of my debut show in November of 2017. They are true community healers with unparalleled expertise in their craft. The goal of the space is to help people move toward being completely present in their bodies. This piece of peace is a meditation on the style, energy, and remarkable spirit of the owner Khadija. Khadija is our Oshun in the flesh. To listen at her feet is to greet the water at the edge of the shore and to know that you are being blessed with the whispers of peace and understanding. This drawing was intended to invoke the infinite power and ow of Khadija’s space.
