In this painting the lines have floating movements and waves which causes the eyes to search the painting. The artist shows the tune of life through the halfway born baby who is playing the piano. The different details of the painting show the process of life. The movement of the butterflies on the stairs are a symbol of getting closer to meeting death as you grow older. Through this relationship between the mother and the son, the artist shows hope to the rest of the environment in a completely hopeless scene. The colors are simple in the sky, however, the different movements, positions, and people show the freshness in this hopelessness .
