'Abstract variation' series: This series was the first one I made with abstract compositions in 2013/2014.

Strongly builds on American abstract expressionism with particular focus Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. The themes of this series reflects on the changes and questions that I went through after my diagnoses with Crohn’s disease. “Questions about myself and others, relationships, life, values and meanings.” These paintings are expressive abstract compositions in which childlike playfulness and constant struggle are present.
