Vanessa created this painting based on a digital artwork she created a few weeks prior which was incredibly well received. Knowing that from the past when she paints a digital artwork it doesn’t quite measure up, so this time Vanessa painted a different angle and with a new style using harsher gradients which she think's made it unique.

Vanessa calls it “Traveller” because when she first looked at it after painting the people in she saw a journey, like one where you travel over seas and other countries look, feel and smell as foreign as a pineapple blowing up to a hot air balloon. Floating on a crossing as if the visit is a dream. Whenever Vanessa explains how Bulgaria is to Australians she perceive that they ever fully understand how different it is unless they experience going there.
