This piece is one of a triptych. It was created in parts, first by photographing the subject and then working in post to create a spiritually related theme. It was at a friend's wedding in a Catholic Church where Natalie got inspired by the stained glass windows and artwork. She wanted to create something using this spiritual inspiration, but not inherently representing anything specifically. The final step is a photo transfer onto wood, and painting to add layers. This is Natalie's favorite part of her process, where she works hands-on with the piece to discover it's final form.
