Micah Daniel Lewis
Created 2016
Given that so many of Lewis' compositions have singular subjects, his streetscape work is a refreshing change of direction. He experiments frequently with wider compositions, choosing to use the city as a backdrop to show the scale and breadth of the city and beyond. Still, Lewis places himself a considerable distance away from the action, so as to capture the image as it might be seen from a spyglass.
